Jarrett Coleman Highlights
- Jarrett Coleman ran for State Senate as an outsider four years ago to make a difference. He’s kept that promise. Jarrett declined the lavish perks and pension, and has focused on reforming state government with more accountability and transparency.
- When a weapon was brought to a local school and parents were not properly notified, Jarrett Coleman took action. He authored a bill strengthening requirements for schools to ensure parents are notified of dangerous situations that take place at their child’s school. Coleman’s bill was passed with overwhelming bipartisan support and signed by Governor Josh Shapiro.
- Jarrett Coleman has made affordability a top priority in his first term in office. He has been a leading advocate for tax cuts that would provide much needed relief to working families and seniors. Coleman also has supported legislation that ended the crushing energy tax on electricity bills and would stop the automatic gas tax increase.
- Jarrett Coleman shares the concerns of so many in the area on the issue of Data Centers. Coleman has introduced legislation to give municipalities the power to place moratoriums on Data Center applications as well as a bill that would eliminate tax breaks for Data Centers.
