HELP keep the PA Senate Republican. CHIP IN HERE!
Harrisburg, PA – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) announced last week that the Pennsylvania Senate will be one of its target legislative chambers in 2022. The RSLC’s main goal this year is to defend Republican legislative majorities. In 2021, national Democrats announced that Pennsylvania’s legislature was one of three they would be targeting to flip in 2022.
“Democrats in Pennsylvania will have to defend the failed record of Joe Biden and Democrats in Washington. Our Republican majorities have worked to insulate Pennsylvania from their destructive policies,” SRCC Chairman Senator Dave Argall stated. “Our campaigns this year will ensure that Pennsylvania will not be a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s policies.”
Cody Harbaugh, Executive Director of the PA SRCC re-iterated: “Polling numbers are not looking good for Democrats in the Commonwealth. Republicans are running six-points ahead in the legislative generic ballot.”
The poll referenced by Harbaugh was commissioned by the RSLC recently and can be found here.
“Pennsylvania’s elections are always competitive, so it’s essential we continue to raise the resources and run a strong campaign to defend the State Senate in 2022,” Harbaugh added. “The environment will help and gives the SRCC a large field of potential seats to contest.”
RSLC’s commitment to Pennsylvania is one that will ensure that Pennsylvania Senate Republicans will remain in the majority after the 2022 elections.
